Turn Me On Again is Nerina Pallot’s latest single, written by her and produced by Bernard Butler is in her own words: “It’s essentially a song about shagging, but specifically the bit before you’ve seen the goods and you’re in that flirty, chemistry soaked phase. The phase before you find out they still live with their Mum and/or have a wife and kids tucked away somewhere.” EF had a listen and here are our thoughts.

As soon as Turn Me On Again kicks off there is an uplifting vibe about the song. Maybe it’s the violins or maybe it’s Pallot’s sweet little voice but whatever it is there is something about Turn Me On Again that really sticks with you. Then the second verse bursts into you ears with more layers and Nerina Pallot’s tongue and cheek lyrics.

We love this new single and how uplifting it is, Turn Me On Again is perfect as a summer track and really shows an interesting side to Nerina Pallot’s music.

As most Nerina’s fans know, her first son, Wolfie, is turning 1 year on September 9th. So, I thought it was nice for all the fans to get together to make Wolfie’s first anniversary a little bit more special .
It’s simple. What do you need to do is send a picture of you, your friends, your pet, holding a piece of paper, where you’re going to write your message to Wolfie. You can also do a draw or a graphic montage and you can send more that one picture/image. It doesn’t need to be something too long, you can just wish him a happy birthday. You decide, and you can let your imagination flow.
You must send your picture at least by September 6th, to contact@nerinapallot.net with your informations (name, city, country, and twitter account [if you have one]). In the email’s subject you must put ‘Wolfie’s Birthday Project’.
